eXtremeRate Replacement Bottom Shell Case for Xbox Elite Series 2 & Elite Series 2 Core Controller Model 1797 - Chameleon Purple Blue

Since i bought the front shell years ago (ELP301), i was sure of the quality for the bottom shell and i am not disappointed at all! I do not know if my previous comment helped on front shell but the plastic prong tool felt way stronger, less scary to use, than the previous one. :)

Installation video was easy to follow. Only one thing i would have recommend (but not sure if all the steps are critical to follow): i would have done the magnets installation (round pellets) and battery, after installing/fixing the rectangle prism magnets, near the center shell. The pellet magnets underneath the battery are so strong that *with my big stubby fingers" i lost grip of the rectangle magnet a couple of times while trying to fix it and the glued side is important. So i would have install them first, then the battery section.

A tip for people with stubby fingers that shakes while screwing the tiny screws: use one of the magnet from your old game controller shell and stick it on the body of the screwdriver. That way, the tiny screw will stick on the tip of the screwdriver while tighten it.

Excellent product. The finish is wonderful. Installation easier than expected! I am almost sad not to own a second one to customize it again. :D

Replaced the top and bottom of my device as the rubber of the original had peeled off. Replacement was relatively easy and the quality is nice.

This back panel looks absolutely sick and I freaking love it. It was easy enough to install and I paired it up with the glow in the dark front plate. The only minor gripe I have with it was that the texture is really really slippery. Understandable given the glossy paint job but it was something I wasn't thinking about when I ordered it.

Ordered front and back plates. Assembled with the help of your YouTube videos. Easy to do. Looks and feels amazing. Just wish I had known that it would take super long to get to me. Would've just ordered locally

I have had my Elite series 2 for a while, and I really like it; I even bought a front shell cover for it from Extremerate. But the rubber grips on the bottom shell casing started peeling. I started looking on eBay for a used OEM replacement, and then I thought, "If Extremerate had a front shell replacement, maybe they have a back one too. So I did some searching, and I found a replacement; the color even matches my front shell cover.

If you like modifying your gaming devices and have a little DIY know-how, you can definitely complete this replacement job. I recommend purchasing from Extremerate wholeheartedly.
