Materials were not as expected

I thought I was buying a green shell, not a white shell painted green. I was under the impression the plastic itself was green but in fact, it's white. I'm a mechanical engineer, and I have designed electronics packaging for years. I've even used paint like this, once. After a time it wears off. And when scratched, as will happen with use, they will show as white. I did not install. What I really want is a transparent lime green shell but this was the closest available. Is this doesn't bother you, is a great product, otherwise.
